The National Safety Council gave Illinois an 'A' for workplace safety and ranked it number one nationwide. The grade was based on the State's efforts to encourage prevention, preparedness, and worker health. For the wellbeing of all employees in the State, Illinois OSHA will strive to maintain this high rating. Promoting safe work environments is the agency’s top goal.
