Maine’s Largest Hiring Fair

Maine’s Hire A Vet Campaign kicks off August 30. Its goal: 100 days, 100+ Employers, 100+ Veterans Hired. The kick-off event takes place on August 30 with a big job fair with more than 200 Maine employers who want to meet veterans, military families -- and the general public. But that’s just the beginning. The campaign continues through November, providing Maine’s annual Hire-A-Vet campaign provides support for employers to expand the hiring of veterans and military families, including a network of state and federal agencies, resources and nonprofits, education on military language and culture, assistance with recruiting, hiring, assimilation and retention, and recognition for the hiring and advancement of Veterans.
